It was 5 years back when i went to Mekedatu along with my colleagues. It was an awesome day trip and was memorable to me because of the first trip in my car. Decided to do a day trip again to Mekedatu and Chunchi Falls. I never heard about Chunchi falls till i decided to go to Mekedatu, which is around 90 Kms from Bangalore off Mekedatu - Sangama road. It was a pleasant Saturday morning and the best place to stop over for an early breakfast at Adiga's on Kanakapura road. Few bird photographers took their positions photographing the Pelicans and Painted storks at the Kanakapura lake.
