It was 5 years back when i went to Mekedatu along with my colleagues. It was an awesome day trip and was
memorable to me because of the first trip in my car. Decided to do a day trip again to Mekedatu and Chunchi Falls.
I never heard about Chunchi falls till i decided to go to Mekedatu, which is around 90 Kms from Bangalore off Mekedatu - Sangama road.
It was a pleasant Saturday morning and the best place to stop over for an early breakfast at Adiga's on Kanakapura road.
Few bird photographers took their positions photographing the Pelicans and Painted storks at the Kanakapura lake.

From Kanakapura to Sangama road you need to take a left turn to Yeleguri Village to reach Chunchi Falls. The narrow road
leading to Chunchi Falls has some scenic beauties on either side of the road.

At Chunchi Waterfalls |
Chunchi was full of dragonflies and lots of other species. Since it was pretty early in the morning, there were hardly
any people over there. Walking down towards chunchi falls is not difficult but slippery at some places.
Since we don't get any thing over there , its always better to carry enough water.
As the day proceeded i saw people started coming in and the sad part of it was some serious boozers started coming with
all the stocks. They definitely didn't look good nor well educated.
